What is the best to work with the hammer silver, brass and copper? ?
I would try to work with metals, particularly silver to make jewelry, and want to know what the best hammer to get. I have a fart regular ball (or rock) hammer, would you be able to use that, or is a fart hammer jewelers different ball? What about a hammer of persecution, leather / rawhide mallet or hammer nylon? What are best used? I would like try to make rings, amulets, earrings, etc. I will be working with sheet metal, brass, and copper (silver and nickel), and metals in the same cable. I am a beginner extreme cold welding and testing all the advice and connected the new metal work is much appreciated!
Hmmm, I would start with the hammer you have, and see how it goes, then maybe go to a fine metal work of the forum and see what they advise.
