Drywall Sander

Home Depot Drywall Sander experience?

Does anyone have experience with this machine. Was it worth renting or hand sanding have been just as effective? Thank you.

I hate to say this, I've never seen anyone use an electric sander on drywall in all my years of visiting the places of work and do myself. In fact, sanding drywall is considered a big no no. The only use of the machines is to remove an enormous effect on the finished wall. If you are making an installation standard is not needed. If you do a good job of recording the drywall you will not have that much sand at all.
