how to map a network drive, release the letter used by hard disk?
I had two hard drives on my computer. I removed one and since I had to assign one of my network drives manually every time I log in check even more and that "Reconnect at logon". It appears that the system still retains this special letter reserved, even made to review and update Disk Management window. I need the network drive a specific letter, because one of my programs to preserve the data by this letter. I'm using XP.
control panel - administrative tools - Computer Click on the network management unit and select "Change Drive Letter and Paths, then select Change and assign the new drive letter.
