What is the difference between glass and crystal and diamond?

I wondered into a shop just to look at the jewelry they have and something caught my attention, which is the model that is made of diamonds / crystals / glasses. So I've been wondering how can I tell if a diamond crystal or glass? You must have details of what a diamond, crystal and glass is like or what kind of difference they have!
