Chisel Set

A day that will inevitably die. A morbid statement, I know, but it's true. I Dona't want to upset you so let me say this - hopefully this day will be a long long way to go. However, I have a question for you now.

What words will chisel your gravestone? I know, most people these days are incinerated. What I'm really saying here is this - when it's all for you, what will you be remembered?

What about something like this?

 "Here lies Fred Nurk. That he was born. He lived. The died.Â"

Not very impressive is it? You might ask: What do all his life Fred? Maybe someone in the congregation of mourning could say a few words to explain the meaning of the life of Freda.

 "Well, Fred never said much Coz Fred hated criticism. And do good coz didnÂ't that couldnÂ't be disturbed. He never married nor couldnÂ't coz it make a commitment. The didnÂ't work well coz that never found anything worthwhile. Bah, I think Fred poor never did anything!  "

Why is it that some people accomplish so much, while others achieve so little?

This reminds me of a story I once heard that a poor man approached a very successful business man and asked:

 What is the secret of his success? How you get so much?  "

The business man replied: Â "This is the answer.Â"

The poor man scratched his head to which the businessman, said: Â "I see you're having trouble with my answer but the answer that you mentioned you in your question.Â"

Again the poor man scratched his head.

The businessman said: Â "I get so much success because done.Â"

Poor man asked: Â "How are you both? Â"

The business man replied: Â "How are you so little? Â "

This sounds like Confucianism. But it shows that sometimes, if we are smart enough to ask the question, since we're on the education and action will set you on the road to success. Lack of motivation, ignorance and inaction are the traits responsible for the  "Fred Nurkse "of this world.

Time is short. It will wait for anyone. No time like the present to start doing something worthwhile.

If you is restless and feels it is time to do something with your life then I recommend something for education, not necessarily the education they receive in a classroom, despite that, too, is highly recommended. A good alternative is to take a trip to your local bookstore. Find a book called a "task and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill (ISBN: 0-87980-163-8).
